8 months agoDoes exactly what i bought it for. Recommendation is to put it all together loosely screwed, then hang it. Then screw everything in tight. Easy to assemble. They recommend using the metal bracket for additional safety but could probably be used without it. I weigh 180lbs and tried it without the safety bracket and felt like it was stable/secure enough. I would probably still use the bracket though. But easy up, easy down. I will be able to quickly get a workout in, even with 2 kids under 3yrs.

a year agoMuch better than me previous over the door chinup bar since I don't have to bend my legs. I'm 6'. Decent quality except the design could use a little bit of a tweak since it is a bit crooked on the door frame as you can see in the photo... But when you use it your bodyweight will pull it closer to the wall to correct this. It's not a huge issue, but it would be a little more stable if it was machined a bit better. still a great piece of equipment. I use it with an straps and TRX bands. I have lost 70 lb and built muscle by using a chinup bar along with a good diet and some other calesthenics.

5 year agoFirst the bad. The bolts and nuts are not the best. The bolts were too long for the caps and the caps came right off. It would be better to have rubber slip on caps for ALL the bolt ends. Do not fully tighten nuts until fully assembled. There is some flex, but if everything is tightened after assembly this is minimized and seems secure. The good is the extra heights works. There are three height settings, although I assume most will be able to use the highest except in some odd door jam/ceiling situations. I had another brand with a straight bar and always had to bend my knees so much, it never seemed to work really well. I am 5'8", 170 lbs and now I can do full range chin ups and feel the stretch in my back.

3 years agoThis is a wonderful product for stretching shoulders and arms. I play tennis and need to stretch often. The additional height is exactly what I needed. The best part of this lifter is no nails or screws are needed to secure above the door. I love it!!!!

5 years agoI love this pull up bar, I use it about 5 times a day and I use 2 different positions on the bar each day for well rounded upper body workouts that take almost no time to accomplish. I also really appreciate the booklet with each workout position, very useful. Only downside, (which I personally dont care about) is the sit up use which doesnt really work unless your shoe size is 12+ because theres no way to hook your toes on the bar.
